Late. It was his first day teaching at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and he was already late for his first lesson of the day. Sixth and Seventh years from all houses in one location, well those that were taking the class or showing up. Fixing his hair as he pushed it in all different directions. Freezing sections off so they would hold throughout the day, Vincent smiled in the mirror of his personal quarters. Fixing the scarf in his belt loop as he checked out his own ass a small laugh escaped from his lips. Nothing better to start the day off on the right foot than looking the best he had in a few days.
Moving across the grounds at lightning slow speeds, Vincent looked around the castle. Since he attended Durmstrang the guy never had a chance to really explore and on his trip to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Vincent really examined his surroundings. Finally he made it outside into the fresh morning air, today was going to be a good day. Opening his eyes really wide trying to get them used to the bright sunlight, even though it pained him Vince didn't want to squint in fear that it would smear his eyeliner.
Coming up silently behind Rodolphus an eyebrow arched high causing a few wrinkles in his forehead. "She may be a squib Mr. Lestrange, but she is damn fine in the sack. Not only that, but you're looking at one of the most skilled dangerous animal and being handler in the entire wizarding world." Vincent's words were icy as he held some sort of need to protect Noomi. She was one of the people he would die to protect, but he wasn't sure that she knew that just yet. The girl kept him grounded, kept him level, and made damn certain his head was on straight as well as his pants.
"And you two smell exactly the same, except you smell more... douchebaggy." Vincent smiled wide at Rodolphus and held his arms out in a 'what-cha-gonna-do' fashion. It wasn't true in the least, but he had to lighten the air that he brought with him. Pulling his sunglasses off the neck of his shirt he slipped them on and looked over all the students. "Why thestrals? They scare the bejeebuz outta me. With their... boney, scaley, leathery... just ew. It sounds like a sexually transmitted disease." A chill ran through his spine as he stepped up next to Noomi and rubbed the side of the creature's muzzle. In all actuallatlity, Vincent loved thestrals, he had three... no four of them at the Vineyard in Italy and they seemed to love the place. They weren't trained, but instead they had a five acres of their own to roam and run free and play. Even though they could fly, they always came back sometimes with friends.
All the animals here pleased him to the highest of highs. Even if he wasn't too familiar with thestrals he had his hand in a lot of dark dealings and had connections with the creatures of the night. Werewolves hated vampires, but even they couldn't resist the charm of one Vincent Mortelle. "Well, what are you waiting for Noomses. Teach! I want to see what you know put into action, this will be a learning and growing exercise for the both of us! So, you teach and I'll keep the prats in line and good order, how does that sound?" On the other hand, Vincent thought that thestral's were boring creatures, for lessons that was, but he had to follow through with what Noomi already put in place. "Or I can teach them something they would love to learn about." Vince flashed her a winning smile revealing his lovely and perfectly aligned teeth. "If you know what I mean."
