Mikael laughed at her quip about Mrs. Norris and enjoyed yet another kiss from Atlanta before speaking softly. He pulled his head back so he could see her eyes. “No matter how tough things get, I will always be here for you Atlanta…unless it’s to clean Slughorn’s closet.” He winked at her and kissed her again softly until she pulled away, this time with an actual purpose. He was actually disappointed that the kissing had stopped but was openly laughing when she pulled out her wand. He winced softly when she poked his cheek more out of typical practice than any actually pain.
He watched as she quickly cleaned the mess around them and he smiled, he wouldn’t bother to tell her that Filch wasn’t coming back any time soon. Mikael had made a deal with Peeves, one that Mikael was going to regret agreeing to but he had been quite desperate at the time. Peeves would keep Filch busy for the better half of the night and Mikael would let Peeves throw water balloons at him for an hour next Thursday. Mikael was just hoping it warmed up by then or it was going to be a cold evening for the Ravenclaw.
He was still deep in thought when he felt her arms back behind his neck. His face lit up again as he looked down and lost himself in her eyes again. His hands wrapped themselves around her waist and he pulled her closer. He watched her raised her eyebrows and his question was enough to throw him off a bridge, god he was hooked on this girl. To think of how innocently this had all began and all of the trouble the two had been through in just six months, he knew in his heart that he wouldn’t trade it for anything. This was the girl he was meant to be with, laugh with, smile with and to find her so early in life, Mikael knew just how lucky he was.
Then she brought up her parents and their failed plan, and it worried him. Why had they been so quick to want Mikael out of their daughter’s life? He was a great student, one hell of a Quidditch player (A position he really needed to get back) and all in all a nice guy if nothing else. The way she spoke about it kept him from worrying to long, she seemed to think they’d be able to change her parents minds which was reassuring since Lanta was obviously the one who knew them. He wanted them to like him and to understand how much he loved her. God it felt good to even think the words love and mean them. “Whatever you want darling. But I warn you, I’ve been practicing since the last time when you whooped my ass.” He remembered that night fondly, when things had been great and none of the crap had come, now they were fighting for every moment together. Ever soft touch or kiss, for every conversation to make sense and for people to approve. But at the end of the day, they knew what they wanted and it was each other, and there wasn’t a god damn thing anyone could do about it. “So your parents? Do we think this is a full on hatred or just an extreme dislike?” he winked at her as he kissed her cheek and gave her a squeeze around her hips.
