Meet Zane "O.C." O'Callahan
Zane is a sixth year Ravenclaw, originally from the United States. His father, Jack, was a wizard who gave up the wizarding world to be with his muggle wife, Fiona. Growing up outside of Philadelphia, Zane was raised fully aware of his father's heritage. The idea of magic always excited the young boy and he grew to love everything about his future school, his powers and the future he was about to embark on.
He was taught the game of Quidditch as a young boy and fell in love with it. Unfortunately for the young man, he wasn't very good. Adept at muggle sports like football and baseball, he couldn't handle the hand eye coordination with the flying. After countless failures at the Ravenclaw tryouts as a Seeker and Chaser, Zane was all but ready to give up on the game for good. It wasn't until he saw the Ballycastle Bats in person that he realized that he wanted to be a keeper. Seeing their superstars like Rian Lewis and Darius Castlewood, and the only man standing in their way was one of the most under-appreciated players on the pitch, the keeper. Zane took a try at this at the tryout and was rewarded with his first position on the House Team.
When it comes to schooling Zane loves DADA, Charms and Ancient Runes and he is an extremely good student. He hopes to work for the ministry and take the route his father gave up to be with his mother. As long as he never has to hear about potions ever again Zane will be okay with school.
As for his love life. It's so so. He's dated a few girls in his time here at Hogwarts but never found the one. And yes he believes in things like the one and all the gooey romantic stuff. Maybe one day he will find love, but for now fun can follow.
Think we can be friends? Enemies? Lovers? Awkward acquiantinces?
