"she's weak, but alive." Logan smiled. "Good, I'm glad to hear it. I'll have t find some catnip for her when she gets better." He was happy that he had been able to help, and even happier that he knew the greenhouse as well as he did. He didn't want to think about what may have happened to the animal had he not been there working. Suddenly a light came into the greenhouse, held by Professor Ellis. Logan waved politely to him, figuring he was doing the rounds.
"Mr. Whitlock, l assume by your dirty hands and attire that you've been doing extra work here, as you often do," Logan nodded. "Of course, professor. I offered to set up for classes tomorrow." He gestured over to the planters he had already rolled in and then to the ones he still had to.
"You however, should be in your dorm. As Head Girl you of all people know the rules," Logan went to speak, but stopped quickly. Stasja had come down in what Logan assumed was secret, and she hadn't exactly had permission to be there in the first place. But Logan knew that it was a literal life and death matter that had brought her there. He just didn't want to get her in trouble by saying so.
"Is she bullying you?" He looked at the professor like someone had goosed him. Bullying? He shook his head rather dramatically, a bit shocked at his statement.
"No sir! Not in the least! She actually.." It took him a fraction of a second to come up with a reason that wasn't a lie."offered to help me. She came by earlier and saw me when I first started." Which was truth. "She felt bad that I was doing it alone, and she offered to help. I told her to go get something warmer on though. It has been rather chilly tonight..I didn't want her to catch cold for helping me." Which was also true, he simply left out anything involving the original reason Stasja had come down. Logan continued. "I'm sorry if I got her in trouble, sir. I just figured, since she had offered, we could get it done twice as fast and be inside before it got too late." He smiled a bit sadly. He was the one who told her she could come back down if she wanted, it was his fault she was getting in trouble now. He hoped the professor would understand, and see that he wasn't lying.
