Sirius looked at Juliet's face rather intently as if he were trying to figure something out, like some difficult Arithmancy question. "I suppose you, ah, don't wear that much make-up at all?" he let it slip out like a question instead of a statement as girls tended to be sort of weird about statements like that. At least she could take it either way she liked. It was supposed to be a compliment. He was originally going to tell her that she was naturally beautiful or didn't need to spend a lot of time in the mirror, but that would only lead them back to where they were earlier in the conversation."Medium it is," he said with a light chuckle. Sirius knew it was going to be one of those thing he'd always remember even if they never followed through on actually accomplishing it. It was like one of those things you learned in class and swore that you'd never remember it, but years later it came back to you as if you were back in that classroom. It was just such a bizarre conversation that he knew it would stick with him.Sirius crinkled his nose. None of it seemed appealing to him. He could be living his life, not reading about someone else's. He was stubborn in his ways and just couldn't imagine what reading was like or how it could be possibly interesting. "So you're telling me that not only do I need to read my textbooks for classes but you want me to read extra just because?" he rolled his eyes and put up his hands in a surrender. "Sure, fine." The only reason why he accepted her offer was because first of all, he didn't think she would follow through on it, and secondly because she had told him he only had to read a few pages.Sirius shook his head in complete disbelief. Although he agreed with Juliet, he was beginning to find it more and more difficult to express how he felt. He just wanted to say it was stupid in hundreds of different ways, and her valid points just added to his anger about the whole thing. "There's literally no logic. None of them have any logic. They don't see where it's going, they only think one generation at a time. I really hope this whole Death Eater thing is just a phase and that soon it'll blow over because I can't handle much more than this. If it's still around when I graduate I swear... I'll be the first one on the front lines kicking the ass of anyone who tries to spew that shit on me." He seemed a little angry, but that's because he was. It was something he thought about a lot and extremely frustrated him. He didn't know what he could do about it, but he knew he was sure as hell going to try something. He wasn't about to just lay down and do nothing just because he was pureblood.
