[/b] She said firmly as she took this chance to lean back up against the wall and calm her anxiety about the whole thing, ”I mean it.”[/b] She drew in a deep breath and then pushed off the walk, walking closer to Lexus. The girl had always intrigued her; there was no fear in her eyes like there were in normal people’s when Bellatrix came around. Honestly, she couldn’t tell if it angered her more that the girl was so calm around her or that she wasn’t afraid.
Blah, blah blah. That was all that Bellatrix heard coming out of the girl’s mouth before her. If Bells had wanted a lecture about family and bloodlines, she would have went and sent a letter to her darling mother. No, that wasn’t what she wanted in the slightest. She didn’t want to be told how to live her life. Relax. That word seemed to ring in her head for a long time before she came down from the manic high that she had been on before. Relaxation was exactly what she needed to do. Growling slightly, she shook out her arms and then took a deep breath. There was no reason to get upset at Lexus right now, especially since the girl had been nothing but a slightly strained friend to her. She was just mad about everything lately and she knew that it had something to do with all the shit that was going on in her life; Zeke, Rod, Riddle, Integra, Potter...everything and everyone seemed to be piling up and she was lashing out at every single one of them. Normally she fed off of the intensity, but too much was emotionally draining on the eldest Black sister.
Slowly she rolled her head from one side to the other, trying to gain a sense of balance within her own mind. Spinning out of control was not what she needed right now, ”I’m going to win the Cup.”
”Trust me when I tell you this: I am willing to do anything to get what I want.”[/b] Her voice was dark as she began to circle the girl and her snake, her eyes simmering with curiosity. She had Riddle depending on her; he had told her specifically that she was to win the cup for him lest she let him down...which meant that was exactly what she was going to do. She was going to push herself to her limits in order to secure the title that she had been instructed, ”You don’t want to see the other side of me either, Phoenix. Trust me. So let’s call it a truce for the day.”[/b] She breathed, stopping in front of her and turning to face her. She held out her hand for a shake.
