[/b] There were few animagi at Durmstrang, people thought that it was petty magic and tended to avoid even the mention of such silliness. Instead, most of the students at his alma-mater tended to venture into darker magic...which is why there was such a connection to werewolves there.Maxim was very interested in her life as an animagus. It was an interesting concept to say the least: being able to voluntarily change ones form as opposed to the way that he was forced to do it. He looked up and nodded along with Eden’s depiction as how she came to be an animagus. The mention of a werewolf had him all out of sorts for a moment and he cocked his head at the girl that sat across from him, wondering if she was trying to tell him that she had figured him all out. On second thought, he figured that there was no way that Eden would have found out so soon...nor had he said anything to expose himself. He was confident that he was still in the clear. Immediately after his shock about the werewolves appearance in her story, he was struck by her father’s form taking that of a fox. That could mean numerous things; namely that the man was sly and wily, something that he had picked up from what Eden had told him about him. Seemed as if her father had more time for his job than he had for his actual child; but who was he to pass judgement on the way that the Wolfs raised Eden.
The way that she spoke about the reasoning behind her father’s transformations and her own made him slightly more curious about the whole thing. What she was describing seemed like such a huge risk; werewolves were beyond dangerous to be around and he could only imagine that they were even more hostile around other animals. He himself had killed countless animals that had been around him while he was morphing. He wondered if Eden’s father had ever been in that kind of predicament, ”So your father and your god father helped you along? How long did it take you to master the transformations?”
”I guess that would be good to have someone to lean on during the whole thing.”[/b] He shook his head, trying not to sound as if he was too interested in the whole thing, ”So did you ever turn with your god father? What was it like?”[/b] He wondered, his curiosity getting the best of him. He wanted to know about how this worked; was there danger associated with it? Had she ever felt as if she was in danger herself. For moment, Maxim tried to rationalize and say that he wanted to know for the purposes of his book, but in all reality, he wanted to know because he had never felt so lonely in his entire life. He didn’t know if there was a possibility that there could be someone out there with him...and now he was just searching for the answers. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]
