Tears started to fill Joram's eyes in a much different way than before. Keeping his hands in place he never moved from his knees. The only thing he did was press harder, he had to stop the bleeding, he just had to. Nadya's voice was a mere echo in the back of his mind as he tried to keep Finn alive, but he was fading and fast. Hand clasped over he shoulder, he could register the pain as all of his focus was on Finn. "Home... we are home..."
"Don't you die on me... please don't, just... keep talking. Look at me Finn. Just... look at me, tell me you're alright. Please keep talking." Jor cupped his cheeks, blood and all as his eyes opened for a mere second and then fluttered closed. "Open your eyes, love. You can't go yet, you can't leave. What will I do? I've got nobody without you. Please, please open your eyes Finn, look at me, just tell me you're alright, tell me."
There were only minor twitches that anyone could have missed if they weren't Joram. His eyes searched Finn's face fruitlessly for any sign that he'd be okay. Keeping his hands on his lover, Jor felt his skin cool and watched as it paled, even if it was slight. The slight head jerk, the words were weak wheezes and mumbles. The slackness in the body before him was something he never wanted to witness. "Finn... wake up... you can't leave me like this. You promised me...remember? You said forever and longer. Right? Forever. Please wake up." Jor was lost, just as lost as he was when he was about to take the plunge, but perhaps even more so now.
Reaching down he grabbed his limp hand and forced him to cup his cheek, holding it there. The coldness seeping through Jor's skin. "Just wake up, stop faking it, the joke isn't funny anymore. You can open your eyes, any second now." Gripping his hand tighter Jor was beside himself with grief. "Come back...please just come back." The smoothness of the claddagh band rest over Finn's fingers. True to his word Jor never took it off. "I love you....you can't go now. There is so much more we haven't done yet."
